A CLEAR PATH FORWARD

From “what if”
to what’s next.

Product thinking and hands-on engineering, connected from the first conversation to the next release.

  1. 01

    Discover

Start with your users, constraints, and the decision that matters. Together, we define the scope and identify the assumptions to test first.

  2. 02

    Build

Work directly with senior engineers on the app, backend, and integrations. Review working software as the product takes shape.

  3. 03

    Launch

Prepare the release with testing, automation, and platform requirements in mind. Make the path from development to production repeatable.

  4. 04

    Keep improving

Use feedback from real users to guide the next iteration. Maintain the codebase, strengthen reliability, and expand what works.

SMALL TEAM. DIRECT CONNECTION.

The people you meet
are the people who build.

R-DEV is led by Tomas and Iveta Radvansky. We bring the perspective of founders and the experience of engineers who have worked across mobile, web, and cloud products.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

Good questions.
Straight answers.

A few things you might be wondering about working with an app development team.

Ask us something else
What is cross-platform app development?

Cross-platform development uses a shared codebase to deliver an app on multiple platforms. R-DEV uses Flutter for iOS, Android, and web, with platform-specific work where the product needs it. This can reduce duplicated development and maintenance while keeping a consistent experience across devices.

Can you help scope an MVP before we commit to a full build?

Yes. We start with the problem, the target users, and the core workflow. A prototype can test usability; a proof of concept can test a difficult integration or technical assumption. We then define an MVP around what you need to learn from real users, with a practical plan for the backend, app, and release.

How much does an app cost, and how long does it take?

The scope drives both cost and timing: platforms, integrations, data, design, security requirements, and release constraints all matter. We review those details with you before recommending a delivery plan. Bring an outline of the product and your priorities to the first conversation so we can discuss useful tradeoffs.

Can you take over or modernize an existing application?

Yes. We review the current codebase, architecture, release process, and the problems your team encounters. The next step may be targeted fixes, release automation, or an incremental migration to Flutter and a modern backend. We plan around continuity for existing users and avoid replacing working components without a reason.

Do you work with teams outside New Zealand?

Yes. R-DEV is based in New Zealand and works remotely with startups, SMEs, and distributed product teams. We agree on communication, review points, and time-zone overlap at the beginning of an engagement so decisions and delivery stay connected.

What happens after the first release?

A launch is the start of learning from customers. We can help with maintenance, bug fixes, new features, performance work, and release automation. The support arrangement depends on your team and product; we discuss ownership, handover, and ongoing responsibilities as part of the delivery plan.
