R-DEV Limited partnered with Carv.com, an innovative early-stage startup based in the Netherlands, to build a seamless meeting platform aimed at enhancing meeting efficiency for users across Google, Microsoft, and Zoom. The platform supports bots to join meetings, records and transcribes video content, and uses generative AI to create summaries, highlights, and custom prompts for workspace meetings.

During our time with Carv.com, R-DEV played a key role in shaping the platform by:

• Designing and implementing the overall technical architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborating closely with the team to define project requirements and objectives.
• Utilizing Firebase to enable real-time communication features.
• Developing the frontend using the Flutter framework, ensuring a smooth cross-platform user experience.
• Integrating NodeJS for server-side development and API creation.
• Leveraging Google Cloud for hosting and deployment, ensuring robust infrastructure.
• Conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance to the development team, ensuring the highest code quality.
• Collaborating with UI/UX designers to deliver a seamless user experience.
• Implementing data storage and retrieval using Firebase and integrating third-party APIs to enhance functionality.
• Performing regular testing and debugging to maintain the platform’s stability and performance.
• Assisting with recruitment and onboarding of new team members and mentoring junior developers.

Since R-DEV’s involvement, Carv.com has hired its own team and pivoted their focus from a mobile app to a fully web-based application, continuing to rely on the original Flutter codebase. They’ve shifted from a B2C model to a B2B approach and are now focused on disrupting the recruitment industry with their AI-powered meeting solutions.
